To Whom It May Concern:
Re: Jim Lawrence Letter of Reference
Jim joined Syscom Consulting on December 1, 1992, on a full-time basis in a
technical support role. In this role, Jim would be dispatched by the help
desk to perform troubleshooting of user's problems, and troubleshooting
LAN/WAN connectivity, workstation troubleshooting or configuration and
installing workstation software.
In 1994, Jim's role was changed to provide Application development and
Maintenance for projects for our clients and internal Syscom software development.
In this role, Jim performed the following tasks:
- Developed and maintained applications operating in a PC/LAN environment.
- Met with clients to determine specifications and develop estimates
on the application development work required.
- mplement applications, train users and provide continual support.
In this role, Jim needed to combine his technical background with his
software development skills to be successful.
Unfortunately, due to a change in business conditions impacting Syscom,
Jim became the victim of a corporate downsizing.
During his time at Syscom, Jim has proven to be a capable technical support
and application development person with the ability to complete a wide
variety of tasks.
It is my belief that Jim will be an asset to any organization requiring
his skills.
